Charles H. Gooden, age 48, of Moline, IL. died on Saturday, June 30, 2007, at Trinity Medical Center-7th Street Campus in Moline, IL. Charles H. Gooden was born November 3, 1958, to Hearl and Nancy (Wallentine) Gooden in Moline. He was currently employed as a Machinist for East Moline Metal Works, having previously worked as a framer in the construction industry. Charlie loved many things in life, especially his TIVO, Rock & Roll, hot wings, and frozen candy bars. He adored the Greenbay Packers. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a kind and generous man who would do all he could to help you if you needed him. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held Friday, July 6, 2007 at 2:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 5th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include: his daughter: Devin Gooden of Moline; his son: Greg Gooden of Moline; two sisters: Karen Buck of Moline, and Melanie Stromberg of Rock Island, IL, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents.
