Carolyn J Rodgers

Carolyn J. Rodgers, 63, of Milan, IL, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018, at UnityPoint Trinity West in Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be Monday, January 7 th , from 4 pm until 7 pm, at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL.  Services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 8 th , at 10:30 am, with burial in Coal Valley Township Cemetery, Coal Valley, IL. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established for her grandchildren. Carolyn was born August 28, 1955, in Moline, IL, daughter of Carl F. and Betty J. (Dufur) Burnett.  She was employed at the Rock Island Arsenal for the Gana A Yoo Service Group for nearly 20 years.  Previously, she had worked at Motel Six in Moline, prior to its closing.  She enjoyed scary movies, shopping, good food, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include, her daughter, Alicia (Sean Minear) Burnett of Milan; her son, Nick Roden of Moline; her sister, Regina (Timothy) Trotter of Davenport, IA; two brothers, Terry Burnett of Davenport, and Richard (Teresa) Burnett of Coal Valley; and grandsons, Sean and Shaine Minear. She was preceded in death by her parents.
