Carol Ann Dickerson

Carol Dickerson, 76, of East Moline, IL, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Rosewood Care Center in Moline, IL. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29th, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Wednesday, November 30th, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project. Carol Ann Sizek was born in Muscatine, IA, on May 21, 1940, to Frank and Dorothy Sizek. On February 3, 1979, in Orion, IL, she married John William Dickerson, who survives. She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church in East Moline, and enjoyed tole painting, arranging flowers, and baking cakes for weddings. In addition to her husband, survivors include sons, Dan (Linda) Stark of Shelby Township, MI, Randy (Rose) Stark of Hesperia, CA, daughter, Beth (Randy) Carroll of East Moline, IL, sons, Kevin (Jan) Dickerson of Loves Park, IL, Gordon (Julie) Dickerson of Silvis, IL, Craig Dickerson of East Moline, IL; a brother, LaMoine (Joann) Sizek of Huber Springs, AR; seventeen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Dennis Stark.
