Carl R. Kramer, age 92, of Moline, IL. died on Monday, May 21, 2007, at Trinity Medical Center-East in Moline. Carl R. Kramer was born on March 21, 1915, to Carl A. and Maude Emmett Kramer in Rock Island, IL. He graduated from Rock Island High School, and attended Augustana College in Rock Island. He married Helen G. Thompson on May 11, 1941 in Rock Island. He retired as Tool Room Supervisor on April 1, 1980, after 37 years with International Harvester Co.- Farmall Works in Rock Island. He was a member of First Congregational Church in Moline, and a member of the Congregators; and belonged to 1014 A.F. & A.M. Scottish Rite Valley of Moline. Services will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at First Congregational Church in Moline. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25th, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church, Moline, or to a charity of the donor's choice.. Survivors include: his wife; two daughters: Marilyn (Jim) Snook of Overland Park, KS, and Carol (Doug) Taylor of Bristol, TN; four grandchildren: David Johnson. Lisa Burns, and Bryan and Jeffrey Taylor; and three great-grandchildren: Alexander, Zoe, and Grace. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, William Kramer.
