Carl Eugene Morlan

Gene Morlan, 76, of Davenport, IA, died Monday, April 13, 2015, at Manor Care in Davenport. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and there will be no services. Inurnment will be at National Cemetery on Arsenal Island, Rock Island, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Carl Eugene Morlan, Sr. was born in Zelma, MO, on May 29, 1938, to Jessie and Alma (Perkins) Morlan. He served in the U.S. Army, and owned and operator Gene’s Mobile Home Repair Service. He loved fishing and taking care of his dog. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Senter of Davenport; a sister, Wilma Black of Florida; and grandchildren, Gabreyelle Senter, Hana Senter, Amber Senter, Emma Morlan, and Seth Morlan . He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters, and a son, Carl Eugene Morlan, Jr.
