Beverly R. Baker

Beverly Baker was born in Rock Island on October 10, 1938, to George C. and Cora (Wheeler) Stuart.

Bev was called home to be with the Lord and her beloved husband, Joe, on November 18 at Friendship Manor, Rock Island, IL.

A private family burial will be held at Chippiannock Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Reserch Hospital.

Bev and Joe were married on March 3, 1977. She retired as a Contract Specialist from the Rock Island Arsenal. Together, they owned JoeVan Foods in Bettendorf, IA. They loved traveling with family and friends and supporting their church. Bev was a devoted member of Edgewood Baptist Church and loved serving her church, especially when doing her work for Celebrate Recovery.

Bev loved reading, doing crossword puzzles, baking, being with her family & church family, and decorating for the holidays, and she adored her dog, Annie.

Survivors are her children, Rick (Dee) Jennisch, Randy Jennisch, Julie (Greg) Johnson, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
