Beverly J. Tucker, 84, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Hope Creek Care Center in East Moline, IL Per her wishes, the body will be cremated. There will be graveside memorial service held Wednesday, April 3rd, at 11:00 a.m., at National Cemetery on Arsenal Island, Rock Island, IL. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity in her name. Beverly J. Wilson was born on January 27, 1929, in Rock Island, IL, to Orvil and Evelyn (Dowlin) Wilson. On October 30, 1948, she married Bert D. Tucker, II, who preceded her in death March 6, 2002. She graduated from the Rock Island School system, was a member of the First Methodist Church in Rock Island, and worked in retail. She enjoyed gardening and reading, but most of all, she was a homemaker who especially loved her family. Survivors include, daughters: Toni (Paul) Carlson of Orion, IL, and Julie (Tony) Steibaugh of Illinois City, IL; a son: Bert (Peg) Tucker III of Smyrna, TN; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert, and, in April 2011, a granddaughter, Kimberly.
