Bettye Jeanette Schwartz

Bettye Jeanette Camfield Sitter Schwartz, 72, of Moline, IL, went to be with her Lord and Savior, with her loving husband by her side, on Monday, August 10, 2015. Born August 16, 1942, in Eminence, KY, she was the daughter of Rebecca and Marion Camfield. She married Kenneth Sitter, who preceded her in death. She then married Robert J. Schwartz. Bettye graduated from Oldham County High School in Buckner, KY. She had such a love for people and life, a heart full of compassion, and an amazing amount of strength. In addition to Robert, her husband of 35 years, survivors include her daughters, Donna Marcum and Sandy Sitter; stepsons, Mark and Wayne Schwartz; grandchildren, Kayla, Scott, Lucy, and Stephan; sisters, Marilyn (Rick) Peters, Terri (Tim) Bullock, and Beverly Cooper; brothers, Dale (Debbie) Camfield, Monty (Bobbie) Camfield, Randy (Gail) Camfield, Tim (Rose) Camfield, and Tracy Camfield; sister-in-law, Rosie Camfield; and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Pam and JoAnn, and a brother, Donnie. The family would like to thank everyone for all their prayers, love and support, during Bettye’s long battle with Lung Cancer….God bless you all.
