Betty J Roseberg

Betty Roseberg, 88, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Friendship Manor in Rock Island, IL. Per her wishes, the body will be cremated. A graveside inurnment service will be held Thursday, April 28th, at 11:00 a.m., at Riverside Cemetery in Moline. Arrangements are being handled by Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church, Moline. Betty J. Roseberg was born October 28, 1922, in Moline, to Harry and Tekla (Johnson) Roseberg. She attended Western Illinois University, Augustana College, and University of Wisconsin, graduating with a Masters Degree in English. Betty taught for many years at Moline High School, retiring in 1984. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Moline, the Friendship Guild, the Women's Association, the Trinity Medical Center Auxilliary, and the Retired Teachers Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Ruth.
