Betty G. Reiman Brown, 87, of Moline, IL, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017, at her home. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A private family service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at Moline Memorial Park in Moline. Memorials may be made to the Alpha Baptist Church in Alpha, IL. Betty G. Frank was born in Davenport, IA, on April 30, 1930, daughter of Cecil and Fannie (Besline) Frank. She married Floyd J. Reiman in Galesburg, IL, on October 30, 1959. He died June 17, 1998. On July 10, 1999, in Moline, she married John H. Brown, Jr, who preceded her in death January 9, 2010. She was a master gardener, enjoyed sewing, and loved to bake. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She took care of all of her children and all of her grandchildren. She was always involved with everyone’s school activities. She was a volunteer at Garfield, Coolidge, and Roosevelt schools, and at Moline High School. Survivors include four daughters, Christine (Jeff) Murphy of Moline, Michaelle (Ron) Willis of Moline, Deirdre (Jeff) Thorn of East Moline, and Jennifer (Larry) Lueders of Oquawka, IL; six grandchildren, Melissa (Robert Lucas) Straw, Jared (Kehlie) Thorn, Ashley Thorn, Julie Christine Murphy, Keaton Hollenback, and Kyle Hollenback; three great-grandchildren, Bryson Straw, Noah Lucas, and Caleb Lenth; and Bill Hines’ loving family. She was preceded in death by a special friend, Bill Hines, Sr.
