Betty Ann Hostens

Betty Ann Hostens, age 84, of Moline, IL. died on Friday, March 23, 2007, at her home. Betty Ann Tunis was born on July 6, 1922, in Davenport, IA, to Earl and Hattie (Seibel) Tunis. She married Clyde E. Hostens on April 7, 1952, in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death on July 15, 1995. Betty was a home maker, and enjoyed traveling, gardening, and playing Bingo. Services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2007, at 2:00 PM, at the Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. Visitation will be on Monday, March 26th, from 12:00 noon until time of the service. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery in Moline. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Survivors include one daughter: Janet (George) Miller of Colona, IL.; sons: Clyde Hostens, Jr of the state of California, Jeffrey (Karen) Hostens of Sherrard, IL, Edward (Shirley) Hostens of the state of Florida, Richard (Linda) Hostens of East Moline, IL, and Robert (Stormy) Hostens of Colona, IL; three sisters: Lois Capper and Jean Pierce, both of Davenport, IA., and Dorothy Shelman of Stockton, CA., and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her parents, her sister: Marie Nass; and two brothers: Earl and Richard Tunis.
