Benny E Emerson

Benny E. Emerson, 55, of East Moline, IL, died Saturday, May 26, 2018, at his home. Services will be Friday, June 1st, at 1:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a two-hour visitation prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to Riverbend Food Bank. Benny was born July 29, 1962 in Winfield, AL, son of William R. and Patricia (Sims) Emerson.  He was employed by Farm & Fleet, and then Von Maur, traveling and setting up new stores.  He enjoyed fishing and reading the Bible, and liked Elvis Presley music and movies. Survivors include his father, William Emerson of East Moline; a sister, Peggy (Michael) Livingston of East Moline; brothers, Danny (Martha) Emerson of Cleveland, TN, and Timothy (Florance) Emerson, of Englewood, TN; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
