Barbara L Fuller

Barbara L. Fuller, 94, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, November 28, 2013, at UnityPoint-Trinity West in Rock Island, IL. A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2014. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Childrens Hospitals, or Honor Flights of the Quad Cities. Barbara L. Lyna was born in Bangor, Maine, on July 29, 1919, to Leslie and Florence (Mitchell) Lyna. On September 3, 1946, in Dixon, IL, she married Ralph P. Fuller, who preceded her in death in 1995. She was a Practical Nurse, and served as a Surgical Technician in the U.S. Army from 1942 until 1945. She was a member of Union Congregational Church in Moline. She was an avid reader, and loved adding to her collection of frogs. Survivors include, sons: Leslie R. (Susan) Fuller, and Kenneth A. Fuller, all of Moline, and Larry A. (Tricia) of Cedar Rapids, IA; daughter: Nancy (Hans) Kasper of Bothell, WA; and granddaughters: Mercy Joan Fuller of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Lara (Dr. Andrei) Kasper-Buckareff of Highland, NY. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Paul McLoone and his staff, and Dr. Suresh Alla and the nursing staff at UnityPoint-Trinity.
