Barbara Ellen Daebelliehn

Barbara Ellen Daebelliehn, 86, of Moline, IL, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her family. Services will be Saturday, September 16th, at 1:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a two-hour visitation prior to the services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. After the burial, the family invites you to a Celebration of Life at the Barrel House, 685 Avenue of the Cities, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to the Children’s Therapy Center, 1304 – 15th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265. Barbara Johnson was born in Moline on January 9, 1931, daughter of Frank and Zella (Crowell) Johnson. On August 25, 1951, in Moline, she married Joseph Keith Daebelliehn, who preceded her in death January 14, 2010. Survivors include her children, Joseph W. Daebelliehn of Moline, Tim R. Daebelliehn of Peoria, IL, and Wendy (Mark) Wilson of Maryland Heights, MO; five grandchildren, Megan (Aaron) Eddy, Matthew, and Michael Wilson, and Zachary and Sawyer Daebelliehn; sisters, Ida Olson of East Moline, and Trudy DeWilfond of Moline; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister, and a grandson, Mitchell. The highlight of Barbara’s life was her grandchildren.
