Barbara E Perse

Barbara E. Perse, 86, of Moline, IL, died Monday, May 20, 2019, at UnityPoint Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, IL. Per her wishes her body will be cremated.  A Celebration of Life will be held on the Rock River at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. Barbara Feld was born December 23, 1932, in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of John and Barbara (Bohnert) Feld.  On September 29, 1956, in Wisconsin, she married Thomas Perse, who preceded her in death. Barbara was employed by Gimbles Department Store, Johnson Manufacturing, Montgomery Elevator, and WHBF-TV.  She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and going to movies, and especially loved getting together with girlfriends who lived on Rock River, the “River Rats”. Survivors include, her daughter, Toni Perse of East Moline, IL; her grandson, Thomas (Aubrianna) Perse; great-grandchildren, Leah-Mary DeBord, Jesse DeBord, and Mason Thomas Keigler Perse, all of Rock Island, IL; and sister-in-law, Estelle Feld of the state of Washington.
