Anne K. Watts, 84, surrounded by her family, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, on Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Ann had been in Hospice Care at her home in Moline, IL, for several weeks. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6th, at 10:00 a.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Inurnment will be at National Cemetery on Arsenal Island in Rock Island, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arrowhead Ranch in Coal Valley, IL. Anne K. Kramer was born in Alton, IL, on May 20, 1926, to William and Ann (Feldwich) Kramer. On March 5, 1948, in Alton, she married Robert Watts, who preceded her in death March 5, 1998, after 50 years of marriage. Anne worked for her husband's accounting firm for 30 years while raising three children, cooking for church functions, teaching Sunday School, and serving as a deaconess at her church. She was an active member of the Moline Gospel Temple for 50 years, and most recently was a member of Cornerstone Church in Moline. Anne loved people, and was a wonderful friend, mother, and grandmother. She had a deep love for God and His word, and was known as a faithful prayer warrior who loved to spend time with her friends and family. Her family and church were the main focus of her life. She will be missed by many. Those left to honor her memory include, a daughter, Kathy Pinger(Gary)of Coal Valley, IL, and sons: Robert (Colleen Webb) and Paul (Christine) Watts, all of Rock Island, IL, and she was a loving grandmother to six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Special thanks to Dr. Flowers and the Trinity Hospice Team, for their care and support.
