Alvina Jessie Jones

Alvina Jessie Jones, age 95, of Moline, IL, formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, died on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at Trinity Medical Center West in Rock Island, IL. Alvina Jessie Levine was born on December 18, 1911, to Nelson and Ida (Perry) Levine in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. She loved her family, and enjoyed sewing, gardening, anything outdoors, and her friends at In Touch. Services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2007, at 10:00 AM at the Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. Visitation will be Friday, March 9th, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include: two daughters: Avis (Lee) Helsley of Lynnville, IN., and Emma Hockenberry of Moline, IL.; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister.
